Shot Blasting, Sand Blasting and Bead Blasting

English Phoneboxes have full shot blasting, sand blasting and bead blasting facilities to ensure the most thorough restoration of all telephone kiosks. The abrasive blasting processes used include:

Bead Blasting -Using compressed air blow small glass beads onto sufaces at lower pressures in order to remove paint and other larger deposits.

Hydo Blasting / Water Blasting - Using pressurised water to remove paint and other deposits.

Dry and Wet Abrasive Blasting Using Portable Blast Equipment - Using pressurised dry abrasive materials e.g. sand blasting and shot blasting. Also using water / steam / other liquids for cleaning surfaces.

English Phoneboxes have a blast cabinet on site to allow the effective cleaning and smoothing of metal an other surfaces. The blast cabinet system allows recycling of the abrasive and collection of any dust created in the process.

English Phoneboxes also have a blast room which is similar to the blast cabinet sytem but on a much larger scale. This allows for very large objects e.g. telephone kiosks or large kiosk components to be effectively treated.
