Danish 1908 Phone

The Danish 1908 model, one of the first standard dial phones comes in working order. Made by Telefon Automatic of Copenhagen. The rarer white model is occasionally available at £30 extra.

These black 1930's Danish phones followed on from the 1908 model. This particular one was evidently a special having been copper plated. Made by Telecon Fabrik Automatic of Copenhagen. Functional.

The Danish 1930's phone which came into play after the 1908 model. It has a metal body and Bakelite handset. Used to be common, now it's quite rare to come across these. Made by Telephone Fabrik Automatic of Copenhagen. Wired to work.

Ericsson Magneto Phone c.1913

The Ericsson replacement for the Skeleton from 1907. The metal casing has a distinguishing wooden top. Ericsson at that time had factories in Sweden, Great Britain, Russia and the USA.

A sound powered phone used mainly in mines or on battle ships. A very interesting collectors piece. They received well but were only good for transmitting over short distances. They utilised the mechanical energy of the sound waves created by the voice and the magnetic energy of the permenant magnet only.
